This variable offset allows the dampener to be set at the ideal location. Regardless of which model you choose twang, vibration and overdraw string slap vanish. The Deadly-Quiet's shock absorbing piston, smooths and deadens string travel without the abrupt dead stop of other systems. To make the system even more absorbent the contact head is a super soft gel. Protecting this gel from wear is a durable synthetic sheath.
